A short animated film by -
Sivraj Roy
Overview
As a child, I loved flying kites. Drawing from real-life experiences, I created 'Grandmother,' a short animated film. This was a college project centered on the life story of a mischievous boy with a love for kite flying.

Why 2D Animation?
2D animation is awesome! It's flexible, lets you tell stories in any style, and can be really fast to make. Plus, people love the classic look and it can really tug at your heartstrings!
I love what Norman McLaren said: "Animation is not the art of drawings that move but the art of movements that are drawn." It reminds me that it's all about breathing life into those drawings, making them dance and tell a story.

Project goals?
To not just create a project, to create something which i can enjoy creating
To create a film to which I can relate to.
